A week ago. I'm looking for information on the Schwinn AD6 Airdyne Upright Exercise Bike, so i have to tell.
We used Schwinn Aerdyne Bd4 in our home for about three years. I'll start with a specific revision for AD6 and then provide some observations on how it differs form the AD4. bd6 shipment came in a box "expedition". very well packaged and secure. It is very heavy, of course, so be prepared to get help in brining home. the AD6 arrived completely unharmed. not a single scratch or dinge on all elements of the bike. all parts were there and easy undo. great job on the packaging and shipping. very simple job-person ASSEMBLY (but note that the instructions recommend two people set). It took me about an hour of opening the package for cycling. all parts are clearly labelled "left or" right ", there are a few screws, bolts and washers that re sealed in a tab labeled hardware, and all the necessary tools are provided. bolt holes line up perfectly. Schwinn clearly made easy Assembly a priority. form factor and The AD6 aspect fits on a 28 "52" space. very compact and fits well in our relatively small family room. looks great, with a professional black finish. function and operation The Bd6 is a pleasure to use. the fan is quiet (but will skip any dust in the area), and has very good resistance when using arms and legs. of course, as you increase the speed, the wind blows it all around and AD6 becomes quite windy and noisy. but the fact that the wind didn't you hit him in the face is a great advantage over the AD4. for upper-body exercise, you can only insert it feet on two stationary stems near the flywheel, or a space behind the wheel.
